Biography
Dr. Subramanyam Revanuru is an Indian engineer currently serving as a faculty member in the Civil, Mining and Process Engineering Department at the Namibia University of Science and Technology in Windhoek, Namibia. With over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry, he has held positions at various universities around the globe. Dr. Subramanyam has authored numerous research papers published in prestigious international journals and conferences. Additionally, he has been involved in accreditation processes for more than 25 years. From 2021 to 2022, Dr. Subramanyam held the position of Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at the PNG University of Technology in Papua New Guinea. He has significantly contributed to the development of the department, leading to the attainment of full-fledged international accreditation granted by Engineers Australia under the Washington Accord in 2025. This accreditation ensures that graduates with Bachelor of Civil Engineering degrees from Papua New Guinea are recognized globally. Furthermore, Dr. Subramanyam is actively engaged in social and community service. He was elected and served as Vice-President of the Non-Citizen Staff Association of PNG University of Technology from 2019 to 2020, and he also held the position of Executive Committee Member of the Lae Indian Association from 2019 to 2021.
