INSTEM
InSTEM is a one-year bridging programme that targets students who did not meet the admission requirements of programmes in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at NUST. It is offered on full-time bases at our Windhoek campus and at the COLL centre in Walvis Bay.

Welcome to NUST all prospective STEM students! If you are interested in the STEM fields of study but could not secure your place in the first year of undergraduate STEM programmes at NUST, the InSTEM programme is for you! This programme was purposefully designed to strengthen the competencies of students in the basic Sciences, Mathematics and English communication. Students who successfully complete the InSTEM bridging program will be eligible for admission to undergraduate programmes in any of the four STEM faculties at NUST: the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Computing and Informatics and the Faculty of Natural Resources and Spatial Sciences.
We have well qualified staff with many years of teaching experience in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Biology, Geography and Information Technology (IT).
