Biography

Jebasingh Daniel is a seasoned civil and structural engineer with extensive experience in both industry and academic. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (2003–2007) and Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering (2008–2010), laying the foundation for a distinguished career. He began his professional journey as a Trainee Engineer at SAAG RR Infra LTD, India (2007–2008), where he gained hands-on experience in building construction projects. His career advanced further when he joined Larsen & Toubro Construction, Chennai (2010–2012) as a Senior Structural Design Engineer, where he designed complex structures including high-rise buildings, hydraulic structures, RC & steel bridges, Cut and Cover structures for metro station, earth supporting structures, box culvert, supporting system for cable crane, Plate girders, ancillary structures, Intake well, Underground structures and nuclear structure, contributing to some of the company’s most ambitious projects.

From 2012 to 2022, Mr. Daniel transitioned into academic as a Lecturer at Hawassa University, Ethiopia, where he taught, researched, and mentored students, bridging the gap between industry needs and academic development. He also worked as a Structural Design Engineer at HY Engineering, Ethiopia (2018–2023), contributing to a wide range of infrastructure projects, including building structures, pump stations, elevated and overhead water tank structures, machine foundation, steel bridges and pipeline support systems. As a Lead Engineer [Civil/Structural] at Avis Enertech Pvt Ltd., Chennai (2023), he led designing complex structures for the oil and gas sector, such as cellular pits, skid structures, pipe line supporting structures, and gantry girders. With over 10 years of teaching experience and 7 years of industrial expertise, Mr. Daniel combines in-depth technical knowledge with practical design experience to drive innovative engineering solutions.
