Mr Samuel Ato Kwamina Hayford

Biography

Samuel Hayford holds Bachelor of Science in Land Economy and Master of Science in Geoinformation Management respectively from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi – Ghana and International Institute of Aerospace Science and Earth Observation (ITC), Enschede – The Netherlands. He joined the then Department of Land Management (now Department of Land and Spatial Sciences) in October 2004 as a lecturer. He has served in the capacity of Section Head for the Property Studies programmes from 2011 till date.

• Development of Unit Standards for the Namibia Estate Agent Board: Technical Working Group (TWG) of Namibia Training Authority (NTA)
• Ministry of Lands and Resettlement, UNDP and GTZ Study on “Land Taxation: learning from the experience of Namibia in Namibia” with the objective of assessing the impact of Land Taxation on Land Reform and document the lessons learned from Namibia for dissemination to SADC regions. (Team member)
