Biography

Liina earned her Bachelor of Civil Engineering with the Polytechnic of Namibia and proceeded to obtain a master’s in environmental engineering: (Water) with the Namibia University of Science and Technology. She joined the Department of Civil, Mining and Process Engineering earlier this year 2024 as a lecturer for Water and Environmental courses. She is currently teaching all the students enrolled for Bachelor of Engineering fourth year Environmental Engineering and will be teaching some master’s courses and Civil Engineering students in the next semester.

Community Development Activities

Liina stands as a Director of the Hilde’s Women and Youth Empowerment based in Okahandja. Through the NGO, she facilitates the annual workshop on Say No to Teenage Motherhood in Okahandja as an Advocate from 2021 to date. Furthermore, through the NGO is a Project leader of the annual Okahandja Career fair program (# Academic First Career fair) from 2021 to date. She serves as a Youth Advisor on the Okahandja Municipality from 2021.
