Biography
Dr. Adewole Simon Oladele graduated with a PhD in Engineering - Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering specialization in sustainable transportation and pavements performance modelling using Artificial Intelligence (AI). He carries out research and teaches related civil/ transportation engineering and sustainable development courses. He has accumulated teaching experience from 2004 to date of over 30 courses successfully taught including successful research supervision and examination of Ph.D. graduate students: master’s degree students and several undergraduate students' research projects. His research interest is in transportation engineering with expertise in highways, pavements, sustainable infrastructure, transportation planning, traffic operations, mobility solutions, transportation network analysis, and optimization, intelligent transportation systems, smart cities, highway & traffic engineering, construction project management, maintenance optimization, and infrastructure performance modelling with artificial intelligence (AI) applications. He has forty-seven (47) peer-reviewed refereed publications up to date with eighteen (18) being peer-reviewed refereed journal articles; twenty nine (29) international conference proceedings peer-reviewed papers/publications and presented/ participated in over forty (40) international conferences and meetings in USA, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, China, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Ghana.
