Shilongo earned her Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electronic Engineering at Polytechnic of Namibia Currently known as Namibia University of Science and Technology. She worked as a Radio Engineering Technician at MTC and Joined Namibia University of Science and Technology in the year 2017 as Laboratory Technician in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2021 she embarked on her Masters of Engineering in Satellite Systems and Applications at Cape Peninsula University, and due to submit graduate in 2024.
