Aili earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications at Namibia University of Science and Technology. She completed her M.Eng in Telecommunications at the University of Cape Town. She joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2016 as a Tutorial Assistant. She is now a junior lecturer as of 2019-till present.
