Biography: 

Mr Rian Uusizi is a Laboratory Manager of the Materials Testing Institute and a part time lecturer under the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. He holds master’s in engineering management, an Bachelors of Technology in Civil engineering specializing in Urban Engineering and also holds a diploma in Civil Engineering and Project management. Mr Uusizi is an Executive Board Member of the Namibian Student Scholarship and Bursary Trust and the Namibia University of Science and Technology Alumni board. He has also serve as a Technical Committee member for the Namibian Standards Institution for Standards development and as Railway Technical Auditor for the Ministry of Works and Transport. Mr Uusizi is an active industry consultant with experience in construction materials, foundation and pavement engineering and Engineering project Management.
