Gaby earned her Bachelor of Architectural Technology degree at Cape Peninsula of Science and Technology. Worked in the industry for several architectural firms as senior Architectural Technologist before embarking on the academic journey. She joined the Department of Architecture and Spatial Planning in 2011 as a Junior lecturer. She obtained her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (Profession) with merits, at the University of Cape Town, 2016.
